The Princess of Disaster strikes again

Today, in honor of our fifth anniversary, Dixie spackled the couch.

Anyone know how to get joint compound out of microfiber?

I just read "where you have DIXIE
written" and I cracked up.

As far as the couch goes...Perhaps hot water and an old tooth brush.
No idea for real, tho.

My "dixie" leaves for NW air to attempt being an attendant tomorrow. We are packing last minute. Dixies do that.

Furniture is just never the same after having kids! So far, all the extra money we paid to have our microfiber couch treated so that nothing would damage it has been a complete and total waste. I don't have any advice for you, but you have my empathy.

The only reason I don't have a heart attack anymore after each new disfiguring discovery is that I've been promised new furniture once the rugrat grows up.

Hi Gretchen,
I'm not sure what micro fiber is but I am an ex drywall finisher. Lots and lots of hot water will melt the drywall mud. It may still leave a white stain?? More hot water??

Microfiber is the greatest lie in the furniture business. Nothing comes out of that stuff!

Feel free to send her my way. I could use some help with spackling.
