Charlie's campaign to spend holidays in the hospital

is gaining speed. He has been in the ER or hospital on Juneteenth, July Fourth, Halloween/All Saints' Day and now he is pulling for Christmas.

Baby boy has pneumonia, but not yet badly enough for the doc to want to keep him, so we're heading out of town as planned with a mountain o' meds.

I'm so sorry for the sickness. We have a mild fever/cough/snot/sneeze thing going on. I hope you guys feel good enough to enjoy your Christmas.

I have really enjoyed reading your blog and our banter on the BHB.

PS- C.G= Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free.

I copied/pasted that from junteenth.com.

I'm so sorry to hear that little Charlie is sick again. I pray Lord Jesus that you will bring complete restoration to Charlie's lungs. I pray that he will feel strong and well and that he will not have to spend any time in the hospital this holiday season. I also pray that you will give Gretchen and Dowlan all the energy needed to travel and care for Charlie and the girls. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.

We joined the sickie club, AWG. It's LLM. She has slept with me since Wednesday and it has been like a wrastling (also called wrestling) match for all night time hours.

Speedy recovery to yours,
Holly
