Dixie: Where is the bone in your belly?
Melody: There isn't one.
Dixie: But there has to be a belly bone.
Melody: You have bones up here (pointing to ribs) and bones back here (pointing to spine) but there is no room in your belly for a bone. If you had a bone here (patting belly), you wouldn't have room for your bowl full of jelly.

That bowl full of jelly sounds particularly apropo to the all-night yak-fest...
Dixie definitely needs to go into the medical field, she has a very sound understanding of the basic principles. I will have to ask her to explain to me where food goes when you swallow versus breathing air.
