Charlie: Nahk-nak.
Mommy: Who's there?
Charlie: Who dere?
Mommy: Knock knock
Charlie: Nana
Mommy: Banana who?
Charlie: Nahk-nak.
I have heard at least five hundred knock knocks today. Actually, I have heard perhaps four knock knock jokes, each repeated a minimum of one hundred twenty-five times. At least Melody had one good one:
Knock knock.
Who's there?
Doctor.
Doctor Who?
Just The Doctor.

Gretchen - I adore your blog :) And cracked up reading this, as I tried, in vain, to teach Roo to do a knock knock joke today. My fav is the impatient cow k-knock joke. She didn't get it.
I feel your pain! My 5 year old has been cracking jokes for a few weeks. It is the same 4 over and over.
Oh, the dreaded knock-knock phase!!
At least it's not the Pete and Repeat joke!
