For singing this morning about someone who is ugly, mean and doesn't change her underwear. That is EXACTLY the kind of positive influence my children need in their lives.
I expected slightly more of you than, say, Cartoon Network or the Disney shows on after noon. I was clearly asking to much. My 'No Nickelodeon' policy is now back in full-force.

Oh, joy-- you know tv's gone down the tube when the preschool programing hits new lows. We've always had an Anti-Nick policy. Ki's gotten pretty vocal about it recently, but I think Disney's bad enough!!! ~Stace
When I was young, my parents banned Nickelodeon from our home. Heartbroken I was, as I loved you can't do that on television and others. I thought it was unfair then. I found poor influences elsewhere, so I cannot say I am totally thankful for their decision. Still, my parents loved their children.
But what about You Can't Do That On Television?
Which episode was it? My bad mommy hat must be on-since ds(3) watched it today....both times it was on....I was taking Christmas stuff down and not moving very well(fell down the darn stairs yesterday when trying to drag all the empty Christmas boxes down!) so I dat DS down during backyardigans.....
At least we have Charlie and his little sister Lola. I love them and never worry about it being inappropriate.
I'm also curious what episode it was. We have Backyardigans Tivo'd so I will want to delete ASAP!
